Policies

​~ Maximum Occupancy for the cabin is 6 people

~ Visitors - are not permitted on the property

~ Minimum Stay -  we do require at least a two night minimum stay, no exceptions

~ Holidays -   Memorial Day Weekend, Labor Day Weekend and Thanksgiving require a three night minimum stay; Christmas and New Year do not require 3 days

~ Weekend - Thursday, Friday and Saturday are priced at weekend rates

~ Weeknights - Sunday through Wednesday are priced at weeknight rates

~ Weekly Rental - 7 nights 

~ Rates - as posted, or contact us with questions about pricing

~  Advance deposit -  If your reservation is made more than two weeks prior to your arrival date, then 50% of the total rental fee, secured with a credit card, is required to secure your reservation.   The balance is due upon your departure.  If your reservation is made less than two weeks prior to your arrival date, the full amount is required to secure your reservation. We will also provide a rental agreement which must be signed by the person providing the credit card, who becomes the Lessee.

~ Check-in  is anytime after 4:00 p.m. andCheck-out is 11:00 a.m.

~ Weather  - We strongly recommend the use of a 4-wheel drive vehicle during the winter in the Hocking Hills area.  

​​~ Insects - You are renting heavily wooded property in the country.  Insects live here.  There will be insects outside the cabin and occasionally some get inside.  Chemical treatment helps, but does not guarantee that the cabin will be 100% insect free.  Check your clothing and limit the time you leave the door open to help prevent bringing insects inside.

~ Credit Cards - Visa, Discover, American Express and MasterCard are accepted

~ Restrictions -  Smoking is allowed on the deck; no smoking inside the cabin, & no smoking on the grounds as the woodland setting poses a fire hazard;  use of fire ring may be restricted during dry forest conditions; guests may not have visitors at the cabin; ATV's can be parked here on trailers but not ridden; no hunting, loaded weapons, illegal drugs, fireworks or loud parties. 

~ Pet friendly - We are happy to have your feline or canine family members stay with us.  For our pet policies, go to The Pet Page.

~ Cancellations:  Our refund policy - 

• More than 14 days notice given - refund of your deposit less a $50 processing fee
  

• 14-7 days notice given - 50% refund of your deposit  except*
  

• Less than 7 days notice given - no refund  except*
  

• Cancellation due to bad weather or other "acts of God", no refund  except*
  
• *If we are able to re-rent the dates you have cancelled, we will provide you with a full refund less a $50 processing fee
  

• No refund for early departure, or for no-show
  

In-cabin massage services are 

available for individuals, couples or groups

Flowers, candy, wine, etc. can be waiting for you in your cabin upon arrival

Pets

Our pet fee is a flat rate of $40 per visit which covers 1-3 pets.    For our pet policies, go to The Pet Page.

Cleaning Fee

A one-time cleaning fee of $60 will be applied to each reservation.

Lodging Tax

A 6% Hocking County lodging tax will be added to your total amount due.

Active members of the armed services will receive a 5% discount off their nightly rate. Show your military I.D. when you check in.
